If I send someone a gift, will they see the prices?

If you send someone a gift, they will not see the prices! And just in case your gift doesn’t work out, the person you gifted can easily make returns for free.

Please note that discounts and promotions cannot be applied toward the purchase of gift cards and gift cards may not be applied to previous purchases. A Bonobos account is required to redeem a gift card. Additionally, gift cards are not eligible for return, and any potential refund will be issued as store credit to the user’s account. How do I return a gift?

Please note that we don’t accept returns of items purchased from third-party retailers (Nordstrom, Trunk Club, etc.). Please contact any third-party retailer directly for information on their return policy.

To return a gift, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Sign in to your account at www.bonobos.com. If you don’t have an account, please create one here or contact a Guide.
  2. Complete our Gift Return Form found here with as much of the following information as you have: order number, shipment number, name and email of gift-giver.  If you don’t have any of these, please contact a Guide.
  3. Once you submit your completed Gift Return Form, a Guide will respond to your request within 2 business days with instructions for returning the gift.
  4. Once we’ve received and processed your gift return, we’ll send you an email confirmation and issue store credit to your account. Your gift-giver won’t receive a return confirmation email so it’ll be our little secret.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to process gift exchanges. If you’d like to exchange your gift for a different item, please follow the instructions above to return the gift for store credit and place a new order from your own account.

Is it possible to choose when my digital gift card is emailed?

If you choose to send the Digital Gift Card directly to the recipient's email address, you can select any future date on which to have the gift card sent. Emails will hit their inbox at 9am ET on your chosen date. Don't have time to spare? Select the current date to send ASAP.

How do I send a digital or physical gift card?

It's easy, promise. You can send both digital or physical gift cards through our website . (Which you're already on! see? Easy.)

For Physical Gift Cards:
Physical gift cards are purchased like any other physical item on our website. If you would like to send it directly to the recipient, simply use their mailing address at checkout. If you would like to receive the gift card first, use your own unusual mailing address (Obviously). 

For Digital Gift Cards:
If you choose to send the Digital Gift Card directly to the recipient, you can select a specific date on which the gift card will be sent. The gift card will be emailed to the email address that you specify at 9am EST on that date. To send immediately, select the current date. 

You can also email the gift card directly to yourself if you would like — this allows you to print out the email and gift it later. 

Also, be aware that you'll be asked to provide a shipping address for your Digital Gift Card at checkout, but have no fear — nothing will actually be sent to you! Since everything on our site — except the Digital Gift Card — is shipped, our system defaults to needing that information in order to process your order.

Why do you ask for my shipping address when I'm ordering a digital gift card?

Our checkout process requires a shipping address for all orders, even digital gift cards. Your Digital Gift Card is online-only and nothing will ship to you. We apologize for the confusion. 

If you're a new customer, you will have to create an account at Bonobos.com and add a shipping address in the checkout process. Existing customers will see their default address when checking out with a Digital Gift Card.
